Jeremy Cartalas
Postdoc
Hi, I’m Jeremy and I'm a postdoc in the Zaccara lab.
After a bachelor's degree in cell biology, I obtained a master's degree in biochemistry and structural biology. During this time, I developed a strong interest in the characterization of protein complexes, disordered proteins and phase separation.
For my thesis, I decided to continue working on these topics while discovering the wonderful world of RNA. During my PhD, I worked on the characterization of an RNase complex involved in the degradation in plant mitochondria. Through my thesis, I became passionate about the different aspects of the transcriptome and especially its regulation.
