Luca Rakowski
Undergrad student at the University of Oxford
I am an undergraduate student at Oxford University pursuing a degree in biomedical sciences. In high
school, I was a member of Columbia University’s Science Honors Program where I studied organic
chemistry, biochemistry, topology, and bioinformatics. I later participated in the medicine and life-
sciences stream of Imperial College’s Global Summer School and in Harvard’s Pre-College Program,
where I studied molecular oncology.
I currently have a very keen interest in neuroscience and genetics, especially in their computational and
bioinformatic facets. I joined the Zaccara Lab to further my knowledge in and contribute to data analysis
as pertaining to genetics and the newer sub-field of m6A mRNA epitranscriptomics.
